My husband and I live on a cattle property 110km's North West of Chinchilla in Queensland. We are avid campdraft competitors who take a great deal of pride in both breeding and training top performing campdraft horses. Over our years of drafting we have been fortunate enough to have been able to ride and compete mares that are both exceptionally bred and performed. These mares have gone on to be the foundation of our breeding program here at Kilbeggan.

The primary purpose for our breeding and training program was always to supply ourselves and our families with top performing campdraft horses. However, as you can well imagine, when you breed several mares every year, your horse numbers grow exponentially and it wasn't long before we had too many to handle ourselves and many were going to waste. It was heart breaking to watch after so much time, money and effort had been invested in them.
So, in the face of our new unforeseen problem, our vision began to evolve and grow into something quite different that was never initially planned for - sale to the public.
With this website we have endevoured to take the guess work out of purchasing a sutable new horse by providing you with a video clip that best demonstrates where they are up to in their training. For further verification all sale horses are available to be ridden on our property.
